Video Surveillance by Multiple Drones by Deep Learning and Intelligent Vision(2016/11~)

The Center’s large-scale project “Video Surveillance by Multiple Drones by Deep Learning and Intelligent Vision” was granted by MOST.

Recently, deep learning is the fastest growing in the fieldof artificial intelligence and machine learning, and has great performances in image recognition. The Center’s large-scale project “Video Surveillance by Multiple Drones by Deep Learning and Intelligent Vision” was granted by MOST from November 2016.

This project uses of deep learning and computer vision techniques to develop an “aerial video surveillance system with multiple cooperative drones system.” The high mobility of multiple drones will be employed to perform detection, tracking, and recognition for on-ground people and vehiclesautomatically.

This project is expected to upgrade the academic research level in computer vision technology in the fieldof artificial intelligence and machine learning, and to transfer the technologies to industry which will enhancing the international competitiveness.
