本技術整合架設於車輛四周之攝影機所拍攝之影像,以提供環繞車輛周邊的景物俯視圖,從這種無死角的整合式俯視圖,駕駛員可得知車輛周邊是否存在障礙物,並掌握障礙物的相對方位與距離。特別是在有許多障礙物的複雜環境當中。本技術可輔助駕駛員停車與倒車、避免碰撞、提高行車安全性。若加上視訊儲存設備,更可提供車輛行駛中的周邊俯視監控視訊紀錄,以做為釐清車禍原因的直接證據。

The system integrates multiple fisheye cameras’ image to a bird’s-eye view (or top view) image about the surrounding environment around a vehicle. This technique can help users to eliminate driver’s blind spots, let the driver monitor obstacles near the car and know well the relative position and distance between car and obstacles. Especially in a complicated environment that is full of obstacles this technique can assist driver to part or back the car, avoid collision, and improved the driving safety. Moreover, this technique can work together with video storage equipment to provide monitoring record during car driving, and regard as evidences of traffic accident.
